His commitment to community engagement and creative collaboration led him to become a founding member of The Uppercircle Artist Collektive, an Atlanta-based collective focused on elevating artists and providing platforms for emerging voices.

Before pursuing his artistic career full-time, Darrien worked as a stockbroker, a background that informs his recurring themes of risk, reward, discipline, and personal growth.
